Lutex® Clutch/brake combination (CBC)
The kinetic energy stored in the flywheel, which is required for the conversion process, is transferred by switching through the LUTEX® clutch/brake combination to the press crankshaft or to a gearbox. The DESCH Lutex® clutch/brake combination is either hydraulically or pneumatically switchable.

Complete Press Drives
The Complete Press Drive KA replaces the complete spur-reduction gears or one level of gearing in punch robots, eccentric presses and knee lever presses or similar machines, where the energy needed by the machine is taken from a quickly turning flywheel.
The compact, ready to install unit saves you costs in design, assembly and manufacturing. The machine press platforms can thus be made smaller and significantly more cost effective.
DESCH COMPLETE press drive KA
The KA replaces the complete spur-reduction gears or one level of gearing in punch robots, eccentric presses and knee lever presses or similar machines, where the energy needed by the machine is taken from a quickly turning flywheel.
DESCH COMPLETE press drive KAS
This drive is fitted with two levels of gears, which can be switched in or out, whilst in operation, via hydraulic clutches. In this way flexibility is maximised.
DESCH COMPLETE press drive KAE
This flywheel direct drive represents an enhancement of the tried-and-tested DESCH standard complete press drive.
A torque motor is integrated into the flywheel, which functions virtually free from wear and provides the highest power density even in the smallest space.
DESCH COMPLETE press drive SERVOX
Servox Planetary gearbox with integrated brake have been developed for use in mechanical presses in combination with highly-dynamic servo motors, and can be used for forming processes making high demands on the kinematic motion profile of the work process.
